Alexandra Rengel is a native of Madrid Spain. She moved to the United States at age of 18.
Ms. Rengel began her legal career with the law firm Keefe & Mercado in Boston, practicing criminal law. Ms. Rengel then cofounded the law firm Mercado & Rengel in February 2000. Ms. Rengel focuses her practice in the areas of criminal and immigration law. She has litigated cases in both state and federal court in numerous jurisdictions, including Massachusetts, Florida, New Jersey, Maine, New Hampshire, Connecticut, and New York, working on hundreds of cases throughout her career. Ms. Rengel is a member of the Bar of Florida and of the Bar of Madrid, Spain. Ms. Rengel has also handled appellate matters before the appeals and the Supreme Judicial Courts of Massachusetts as well as the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta, GA. She has a demonstrated history of obtaining very favorable results for her clients as a product of her vast experience and superior talents as an advocate.
Ivan Mercado was born in the Dominican Republic and grew up in the United States.
Mr. Mercado began his legal career in 1996, as a law clerk to the Justices of the Superior Court of Massachusetts. After completing his one year clerkship with the Superior Court, Mr. Mercado began working in the law firm McBride & Associates, in Boston, Massachusetts, a law office specializing in criminal cases. In 1998, Mr. Mercado became a partner of Keefe & Mercado, working on criminal and personal injury cases. In 2000, Mr. Mercado partnered with Ms. Rengel to work on criminal, immigration, civil litigation and “high end” personal injury cases. Mercado & Rengel, P.A. relocated to Miami, Florida in October 2001 with Mr. Mercado continuing to focus on criminal and civil litigation. Mr. Mercado has experience practicing in various jurisdictions of the United States including Massachusetts, Florida, New Jersey, Maine, Puerto Rico, New Hampshire, Connecticut, and New York. He has handled cases in state courts, federal courts, appeals courts, and state supreme courts. Mr. Mercado has represented clients in hundreds of major felonies in his career. Mr. Mercado has been a member of the Bars of the State of Florida and Massachusetts since 1996, he is also a member of the Bar of Madrid, Spain.
Marta Pellon Marta Pérez was born in Madrid, Spain, in 1983. • She studied law at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, where she graduated in 2007. • In 2008, he was graduated in Criminology from the Universidad Camilo José Cela Madrid. • She is a member of Madrid Bar with membership number 82581. • In 2009, she founded an Internet website specializing in Criminology www.estudiocriminal.eu. • Editor of the Magazine E-Criminal (Digital Magazine specialized in Criminal Law and Criminology with more than 10,000 subscribers in 21 countries). • She has numerous published pieces and articles she is a frequently consulted by media outlets on Criminal Law and Criminology in several countries. • In 2009, she was guest professor teaching Masters level course in International Criminal Law at the UCES - Universidad de Ciencias Empresariales y Sociales in Argentina in a program jointly run with the Italian Universidad La Sapienza, de Roma (Italia) . • She was a visiting professor in the United Kingdom at University John F.
